The Shyan Selah Experience – College & Career Fair, an unprecedented resource fair and concert for the South King County community of Federal Way and surrounding areas. Although this marks the first annual event that Shyan, along with Brave New World Enterprises and The Shyan Selah Foundation, will be presenting, the Creative Artist & Entrepreneur has long incorporated youth and education outreach into his music and entertainment career. This event is designed to bring together resources both known and untapped into one place for youth and young adults to gain information and access to key educational and career pathway opportunities.

“This is the first of many more to come,” says Shyan. “I’m excited to bring it to other cities in the country that are already requesting it. Bottom line is our communities need meaningful programs that are developed by those who’ve lived the experience. As a creative artist & entrepreneur and a former youth who emerged out of certain hardships, I got a good sense of the rhythm the community is looking for to help move them past the obstacles such as racism, and really shine the light on what equity can look like.”
