His latest creation is his new single “THE GODD BABY CODE.” This song features one of Hip Hop’s most respected and successful rap artists and entrepreneurial legends, NAS The track’s architect is acclaimed Award Winning/Multi-Platinum music producer Adrian Wood (50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan) and reflects a vibe and tempo that’s reminiscent of Hip Hop’s unique ability to take the listener into a theatrical audio journey reminiscent of what a Prize Fighter would exit the ring to after winning the title.
Selah says that in the first verse when Nas rhymes the bar “I walk around Mega Hard, like whatever God,” it was the exact message that fit his own energy and mission for 2026.
“This is the attitude of being self made,” says the Federal Way native. “It’s confidence in the face of uncertainty in a world that promises no favors. It’s the I AM energy, The James Brown ‘I’m Black and I’m proud’ vibe. The point of Hip Hops spirit is survival against all odds. We are a forgotten tribe in Hip Hop out here in the PNW so part of my intention is to always raise awareness to the region while putting my soul in the world of things. My input on the track came from rhymes I had in the crates that I wanted to bring to life. I’ve always admired the King from Queens, NY and have held Nas’s legacy as a blueprint that motivates my work.”
